coming back home to myself: redefining who i am and what feels good to me.
I don’t know if it was just me but October was brutal. She had hands! And she was a fighting girl. Definitely was a lot of moving pieces and emotional challenges. This was hands down the most emotional month ever. I was redefining my identity, my relationship with social media, my purpose, how I wanted to show up. In the beginning of October, I was feeling like I had more questions than answers and now that it is over, I’m realizing some questions are answers. I feel more emotionally sober. I feel more clear. I feel like this is the beginning of getting back to myself.
The seasons are changing, the days are getting shorter and we are losing more sunlight. This is the season to slow down, reflect, and tune in. Getting back to myself has so many different layers to it. And I don’t know if anybody else can relate to this but it feels like prioritizing my needs, standing on my boundaries, and really trusting myself. This is where we recharge. This is where we start fresh. This is where we prioritize self-care routines, spending time in nature, and having more intentional “me” time.
I recently met with a life coach and she asked me a series of questions that I think might serve as great journal prompts for us all. Below are the high-mileage questions she asked me.
how do you see yourself?
how do you define self trust?
what does success look like for you?
what’s stopping you from moving forward?
what’s your relationship like with pleasure?
what’s one thing you need to start protecting?
for the last 5 years, what has your life been about?
how would you describe the relationship you have with yourself?
These questions stopped me in my tracks. They felt like an invitation to dig deeper into another layer of myself, the things that I say I want out of this lifetime and how I want to show up in this world. The impact that I want to have.
November is going to be the beginning of a very special season for me. I’m launching my new Patreon series! I’m still trying to decide between ‘Food for Thought’ or ‘Glow and Grow with Arielle’. Which one do we think is better? This will be a sacred space where I’ll share deeper insights into holistic eating and living. We are talking all things emotional eating, eating for energy, seasonal produce, mindful movement, kitchen pantry must haves, and recipes. This project has been on my heart for a while and it finally feels like the right time to offer it during a season where I feel the most aligned with the kind of live I want to live — one that is focused, intentional, balanced, and fulfilled with purpose.
I’ve realized how deeply nutrition, food choices, and the energy we put into our bodies impact our entire well-being. As someone who has walked this journey, I know it’s not always easy to stay on track with mindful eating and making the best choices. The goal is for us to have a space where I could offer holistic guidance in a more personal way — something beyond just recipes.
‘Food for Thought’ or ‘Glow and Grow With Arielle’ will have two tiers to choose from:
Tier 1: Eating for Energy
This tier is all about simple and actionable but practical steps on how to eat better for sustained energy, mental clarity, and gut health. we’ll dive into topics like intuitive eating, emotional eating, digestion, seasonal food choices, and quick ways to boost your day with the right foods. Think of it as bite-sized wellness motivation.Tier 2: Mindful + Colorful Recipes
Now this is for the people who are looking for more in-depth guidance in the kitchen because this is mostly focused on recipes. Each one will be created with intention — using seasonal ingredients, designed to support energy and balance. Here, I’ll share some of my favorite go-to meals, meal prep ideas, and seasonal dishes that make eating well feel easy, enjoyable, and nourishing.
Both tiers are designed to be intentional, helpful, and holistic. Oftentimes people hear holistic and think natural or vegan and it just means whole body. We will talk about how to heal and treat the whole body.
I’m really looking forward to November being about re-connection with self and getting back to my why. Ultimately this looks like:
Prioritizing Quiet Time
Less scrolling and less screen time, more journaling, more meditation, more EFT tapping
I’m carving out time each day to just be with myself — no distractions, just time to reflect and listen inwardly.Protecting My Energy
This means saying no when I need to, without guilt. Saying yes to more things that light me up and give me energy. This is the season for prioritizing what fills me up and respectfully stepping back from things that drain me.More Nature & Movement
There’s something so healing about being outside. I’ll be incorporating more outdoor walks, hikes, mindful movement, and more hot pilates as part of my daily routine.Creating with Purpose
With ‘Food for Thought’ or ‘Glow and Grow with Arielle’, I want to focus on creating meaningful content that brings value to others while staying true to my own wellness goals. The goal is provide you with practical tools that you can bring into your own life, whether it’s a recipe that nourishes or a holistic tip that brings balance.
Big gratitude and thanks for being here, supporting my journey, and allowing me to share this new phase with you all. I hope you’ll find inspiration in the new content on Patreon, and more than anything, I hope it helps you feel a little more like yourself, too. Cheers to better boundaries, fresh starts, and nourishing our lives from the inside out.
BIG grateful, not the little one.
